WOVEN BLANKETS: Colors are approximate only. Due to the unique production process, actual colors are more muted. This is not a defect, but part of the beauty of these blankets. Every woven blanket is slightly different due to the unique production process using old-world methods developed in the 1800s and modernized by today’s industrial capabilities. Your blanket is not printed; it’s woven. The weaving process uses a 6-color warp and natural and black fill yarn to achieve a visual color range of almost 200 different colors. These are woven in the USA.
FLEECE BLANKETS: We use an ultra-soft fleece blanket with gray flannel fleece back and a high-resolution printed front with gray edging. Colors will be much brighter and artwork will be crisper than on a woven blanket. These are printed in the USA of imported materials.
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE: Please make your selections and provide the requested info. You have the option of uploading your favorite photo of your plane now, or you can do that later. Once your order is placed we will reach out to you via email to confirm your details. We will then digitally illustrate your plane, and send you a sneak preview. Any design revisions will be quoted at an hourly rate and extra charges must be paid in full prior to any additional work commencing.
Once your plane is illustrated, we can add it to other products for you - the sky's the limit!
Your blanket order includes: your blanket of choice; a custom digital illustration to be used on your blanket; and the option to have us add your custom digital illustration to other products if you wish. We retain the copyright to your digital art. You may request us to use your artwork on future orders you place with Barking Pixel. If you wish to receive exclusive usage rights to your artwork this can be negotiated for an additional fee.
